Sanctuary
Peace and Quiet
It seems as though today, we are constantly surrounded by noises and distractions. So much so, that when we find these places where the peace and quiet of the world returns, it’s like we’re removed from everything else and things become simple, and normal, once again.
At Burma Road Estates, we have embraced this feeling. On our land, the solitude becomes the forefront and the hustle and bustle of the world fades into the background. It’s our sanctuary.
The Train Whistle
In fact, sometimes our solitude is so great that a signal from the outside world is welcomed. The train whistle from across the valley no longer serves as yet another noise and distraction in our life, but instead is welcomed as a reminder that the world still goes on outside of our walls. What once seemed like a loud piercing interruption amongst a cacophony of others like it, is now simply a distant rumble that makes our peacefulness even greater knowing that all is well in the world.

Light of the Day
We all know that light creates life. It provides energy and warmth that is necessary for plants, animals and…well…us, to keep living. At Burma Road Estates, we are fortunate enough to have ample light. From when the sun first peaks above the horizon at the end the valley, to when it finally decides to drop behind the Lizard range at the end of the day, we get to take it all in.
