Light of the Day
Light Creates Life
We all know that light creates life. It provides energy and warmth that is necessary for plants, animals and…well…us, to keep living.
At Burma Road Estates, we are fortunate enough to have ample light. From when the sun first peaks above the horizon at the end the valley, to when it finally decides to drop behind the Lizard range at the end of the day, we get to take it all in.
Health and Happiness
And who doesn’t appreciate a golden sunrise or sunset? Whether it be watching the sun come up from your kitchen window with new snow falling through the air, as you get your coffee and tea ready before a big day of skiing. Or maybe you prefer to take in the sunset on your deck after a long day of biking in the summer, while you feel the cool air rise up from the river below.
Not only is this natural light important for our own health and happiness, it allows us to grow wonderful gardens too. Just imagine being able to grow your own food all summer.
So no matter how you choose to enjoy your sunlight, at Burma Road Estates, we are lucky enough to have lots to share!

Sanctuary
It seems as though today, we are constantly surrounded by noises and distractions. So much so, that when we find these places where the peace and quiet of the world returns, it’s like we’re removed from everything else and things become simple, and normal, once again. At Burma Road Estates, we have embraced this feeling. On our land, the solitude becomes the forefront and the hustle and bustle of the world fades into the background. It’s our sanctuary.
